As a member of G-20,Indonesia has become the 1 st largest economy in Southeast Asia and the 16th largest economy in the world with a population of 270 million and a national income of 1.1 trillion USD as of 2021.

The eighth Türkiye-Indonesia Joint Economic Commission (JEC) Meeting was held on 11-12 October 2017 in Jakarta.

Türkiye’s export to Indonesia reached 271 million USD, while the imports from Indonesia was realized as 1,6 million USD in 2021. Indonesia experienced a trade surplus of 1,39 million USD with Türkiye in 2020.

Currently, 19 Indonesian companies operate in Türkiye, while 51 Turkish companies operate in Indonesia.
