Ukranian customs authorities initiated a new practice for foreign travellers going to Ukraine to declare the amount of money exceeding US$ 1000 that they carry with them during their entry to Ukraine. Those not complying with this rule who do not declare or make false declaration, might be arrested during their departure from the country and sent to court.

It is important that Turkish citizens who will travel to Ukraine carefully comply with this rule which was put into practice by Ukranian authorities, so that they would not be subjected to any legal proceedings in Ukraine.
