We learned with deep grief that Poland's Ambassador in Ankara, H.E. Mr. Miroslaw Palasz passed away early this morning (April 8, 2000).

The deceased Ambassador of Poland who was a good friend of Turkey and had a very succesful carieer, achieved significant contributions to the development of bilateral relations between Turkey and Poland.

We express our condolences to his grieved family, to the Republic of Poland and to the members of Polish Embassy in Ankara.
