Special Advisor to the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, Mr. Alexander Downer, will arrive in Turkey on 9 September and have official contacts in Ankara on September 10, within the context of the talks conducted with the related parties regarding the comprehensive settlement negotiations which started on 3 September, under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General’s good-offices mission. Special Advisor Mr. Downer and the accompanying UN delegation will be received by the President, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and will meet the Ministry officials.
