The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso Djibril Yipènè Bassolé will pay an official visit to Turkey from 22 to 23 May 2008 upon the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan.

During the visit, at the talks to be held on 22 May 2008 between the delegations headed by the two Foreign Ministers, the possibilities of developing bilateral relations between Turkey and Burkina Faso will be discussed and an exchange of views will take place on regional and international issues of interest to both countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso will be received by President Abdullah Gül.
