We are deeply saddened and concerned at the continuing clashes and the loss of lives in Lebanon.



We welcomed the decision of the Arab League to dispatch a Ministerial Committee to Lebanon to hold talks with the relevant parties with a view to finding an immediate solution to the Lebanese crisis through dialogue and reconciliation.



We support all regional and international efforts aiming at the restoration of peace and tranquility in Lebanon through resolving the crisis on the basis of constitutional legitimacy.
