Following the phone conversation between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Gruevski and our Prime Minister where Mr. Gruevski requested assistance in the fight against forest fires which have taken place in 20 different locations in Macedonia, a decision has been taken to deploy a helicopter belonging to the Directorate General for Forestry of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry located in Keşan, as well as a fire extinguishing airplane belonging to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

The above-mentioned helicopter and airplane left for Macedonia today (25 July).
