We strongly condemn the terrorist attack targeted a bus in Tripoli this morning and resulted in many casualties including civilians and military personnel. We express our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and the Lebanese people and our wish for speedy recovery for the injured.

We believe that the Lebanese government and people will not allow this abhorrent terrorist attack hinder the progress achieved in the recent period towards the target of achieving national unity and lasting peace and stability in Lebanon.

We hope that the perpetrators of this attack are captured as soon as possible and emphasize once again that Turkey will continue to give the necessary support to maintain peace and stability in Lebanon.
