The Official Visit of Russian Deputy Foreign Minister to Turkey (Unofficial Translation) No:04 - January 17, 2000

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation Mr. Ivan D. Ivanov is going to pay an official visit to Ankara on January 17-18, 2000 for consultations on economic and commercial issues between the two countries.

At the talks between the Russian delegation and the Turkish delegation headed by Deputy Undersecretary of Economic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Mithat Balkan, bilateral economic and commercial matters of mutual interest, energy disputes, commercial and economic aspects of Turkish-Russian relations in the light of Turkey's EU candidacy will be discussed.
