Turkey had provided urgent medical aid to Afghanistan last summer to help alleviate the suffering of the civilians as a result of the ongoing war in the country.

Recently, the Turkish Government has decided to send food supply to Afghanistan with the aim of meeting the need for urgent humanitarian aid in the region due to bad winter conditions.

In this framework, 110 tons of wheat were sent to the region to be distributed to the civilians in the cities of Kunduz and Takhar through the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe.
