The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Mr. George Papandreou will pay an official visit to Turkey on 19 - 22 January 2000.

At the talks which will take place during the visit between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, H.E. İsmail Cem and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, H.E. George Papandreou, Turkish-Greek bilateral relations, regional and international matters of common interest will be taken up and some of the agreements being negotiated between both countries will be signed.

During the visit, Mr. Papandreou will be received by the President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Süleyman Demirel, the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, H.E. Yıldırım Akbulut and the Prime Minister, H.E. Bülent Ecevit.
