The Turkish-Macedonian Political Consultations (Unofficial Translation) No:08 - January 24, 2000

Turkish-Macedonian political consultations will be held on 25 January 2000 in Ankara. At the consultations, Turkish side will be headed by Deputy Undersecretary Ambassador Mr.Aydın Şahinbaş and Macedonian side by Deputy Foreign Minister Mr.Viktor Dimovski.

Turco-Macedonian bilateral relations, together with all its dimensions will be taken up at the consultations. Views will be exchanged on the South Eastern European Countries Cooperation Process, the only regionally originated cooperative forum, which Macedonia will assume rotational chairmanship. In the framework of regional matters, the Kosova issue and recent developments regarding the Stability Pact will also be covered.
