The building stock and transportation infrastructure throughout the country offer many job and project opportunities in Tajikistan to the Turkish contracting sector. Due to the limited resources in the contracting sector in Tajikistan and the inability to allocate sufficient resources to this sector from the budget, especially infrastructure investments are supported and financed by international financial institutions such as the Islamic Development Bank, the World Bank and the Kuwait Fund rather than by state. The main customer of the contracting sector is the government and the state provides financing through the budget, foreign loans and grants. Contracting sector projects are managed by the state.
