Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu hosted in Istanbul on 29 October 2018 the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia Trilateral Foreign Ministerial, with the participation of Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov of Azerbaijan and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani of Georgia.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia Trilateral Cooperation is advancing with an understanding of regional ownership, and on the basis of mutual interest and respect.

The Ministers reiterated the common will of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to further develop trilateral cooperation especially in the areas of economy, energy, and transport.

Following the meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed a joint declaration between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia, and held a joint press conference.
