The first meeting of the Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council was held in Ankara on 7-8 February 2017

The first meeting of the Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council was held under the co-chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir in Ankara on 7-8 February 2017.

On 7 February, Tuesday meetings of the Working Group were held. On 8 February, Wednesday, bilateral meeting of the two Ministers took place before the meetings between the delegations. At the first Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council meeting prospective areas of cooperation to further develop bilateral relations were discussed, and also views on regional and international issues were exchanged.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir signed the Minutes of the Meeting. Then, the two Ministers held a joint press conference.

The visiting Minister Al-Jubeir was received by the President and the Prime Minister within the scope of the visit.
