On 12 March 2019, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with “Turkish-British Tatlıdil Forum” co-chairs of the British side, former UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and Sir Julian Horn-Smith in Antalya.

At the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkey is happy to host the 8th meeting of the Forum in Efes/Kuşadası this year.

On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Dora Bakoyannis, candidate for Secretary General of the Council of Europe and former Foreign Minister of Greece.
