Foreign Minister Riad Malki of Palestine paid a visit to Turkey on 11-12 August 2016 to express the solidarity of Palestine with Turkey against the coup attempt. In the meetings, recent developments in the context of the Palestinian Cause as well as steps which can be taken in the upcoming period about the development of Turkey’s strong support to Palestine in every field were discussed. Speaking at the joint press conference after his meeting with Foreign Minister Malki, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed his thanks to Palestine for demonstrating support and solidarity against the coup attempt and stressed that Turkey’s support and assistance to Palestine will continue.
