Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid an official visit to Turkey on 7-8 November 2016 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu. In the meetings held during the visit, bilateral relations and regional cooperation as well as current international issues, particularly relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the EU and NATO, were discussed.

Speaking at the joint press conference with Foreign Minister Crnadak after their meetings, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed his thanks to friendly and brotherly Bosnia and Herzegovina for providing strong support against the coup attempt.

Stating that the Trilateral Consultation Mechanisms which were established with Serbia and Croatia constitute an important pillar of our relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu underlined the goal of increasing bilateral trade volume from 543 million USD to the level of 1 billion USD, and stressed that Turkey will always continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in all fields.
