First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic of Serbia paid a visit to Turkey on 5-6 October 2016 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu. In the meetings held during the visit, bilateral relations between Turkey and Serbia as well as current regional and international developments were discussed. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Dacic held a joint press conference after their meeting. In this context, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed his thanks to Serbia for showing solidarity against the coup attempt.
