The Visit by His Majesty Abdullah Bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemte Kingdom of Jordan to Turkey (Unofficial Translation) No:24 - March 1, 2000

His Majesty Abdullah Bin Al Hussein King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Queen Rania Al Abdullah will pay an offical visit to Turkey on March 7-9, 2000, upon the invitation of the President H.E. Süleyman Demirel.

At the talks during the visit, bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues will be taken up. After completing his talks in Ankara, His Majesty Abdullah Bin Al Hussein will travel to Istanbul to meet with Turkish businessmen

Turkey attaches great importance to the deep rooted friendship with Jordan , as an important country of the Middle East ,based on common historical and cultural values.

His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein will be accompanied by a high level delegation consisting of the Prime Minister H.E. Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh, the Chief of Royal Court H.E. Dr. Fayez Tarawneh, the Minister of Foregn Affairs H.E. Abdullah Ilah Khatip and the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation H.E. Kamel Mahadin.
