The Third Turkey-EU Ministerial Political Dialogue Meeting was held on 7 June 2012 in Istanbul.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağış and from the EU side High Representative Mrs. Catherine Ashton and Mr. Stefan Füle, Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy attended the meeting.

State of play in the accession negotiations process of Turkey and issues concerning "Positive Agenda" were discussed at the meeting. Moreover, visa free travel of the Turkish citizens to EU countries was addressed. Views were exchanged on developments in the Balkans and the Middle East as well as Cyprus issue.
