The participation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu in the Middle East Peace Conference

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu attended The Middle East Peace Conference held in Paris on 15 January aimed at settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution and adding impetus to the efforts to establish just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.

At the Conference, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu delivered a speech emphasizing our support to efforts towards establishing just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region. In the margins of the Conference Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu held various bilateral meetings with his counterparts. In this context, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu exchanged views on the Middle East Peace Conference and regional issues with Foreign Minister Ayrault of France, and discussed our common agenda with Foreign Minister Vella of Malta. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu also discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations with Foreign Minister Siyala of Government of National Accord of Libya. Furthermore, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu had a working lunch with Foreign Minister Al-Thani of Qatar and Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir of Saudi Arabia to consider current developments.
