Mr. William Burns, Deputy Secretary of State of United States paid a visit to Turkey on 9-10 January 2012.

Within the context of the consultations headed by Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Under Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and William Burns, Deputy Secretary of State of United States bilateral economic and political relations were discussed. There was also an exchange of views on fight against terrorism, Cyprus and developments in the Middle East.
