Al Dirdieri Mohamed Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan paid a visit to Turkey on 14-15 August 2018.

During the visit, the meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group between the two countries was held under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his Sudanese counterpart.

At the meeting, bilateral issues and developments in African continent, as well as the preparations of High Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting to be held in Turkey in the period ahead under the chairmanship of the Presidents of two countries were discussed.

As part of his visit, Minister Al Dirdieri delivered a speech at the 10th Ambassadors Conference.

Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister Al Dirdieri held a joint press meeting.
