The second day of the 8th Ambassadors Conference started with the address on public diplomacy by the Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş. Following this address, Deputy Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan briefed Ambassadors on activities carried out by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Directorate General of Foundations.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted a lunch for our Ambassadors attending the 8th Ambassadors Conference.

In the afternoon session, Foreign Minister of Norway Borge Brende addressed the Conference and answered the Ambassadors' questions.

Following the speech made by the Norwegian Foreign Minister, Minister for Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yıldırım informed Ambassadors on Turkey's current transport policies and ongoing projects. Minister for Education Nabi Avcı also addressed the Ambassadors and briefed them about the work carried out on education abroad.

On the margins of the Conference Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu also held a bilateral meeting with his Norwegian counterpart.
