Participation of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in the 3rd Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Member States Conference on Mediation, 1 November 2019

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu participated in the 3rd Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States Conference on Mediation in İstanbul on 1 November 2019.

During his opening speech at the Conference Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized the importance of mediation activities in the OIC geography where 60% of conflicts worldwide are taking place.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we would continue contributing to the activities in this field of the OIC, the second largest international organization after the UN.

On the same day Minister Çavuşoğlu participated in the first program of the Akdeniz University academic year.

Minister Çavuşoğlu shared with students and academics our vision of "Robust Diplomacy: Active on the Ground and at the Table".

Later that day, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the Turkish Accreditation Agency and congratulated the Agency that provides added value to Turkey in several fields, particularly in exports based on product standard and safety.
