Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Moscow on 29 December 2018, to discuss the situation in Syria upon recent developments.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that it was a fruitful meeting with our Russian partners.

At the meeting, steps that Turkey and Russia have taken so far were assessed and the way both countries could coordinate their efforts from now onwards was evaluated.
