Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Menucehr Muttaki, Coordinator of Hamide Effort Committee and its members on 13 September 2019.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we can only solve complex problems in our region through solidarity, cooperation and strong dialogue among Muslim countries.

On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Dato’ Marzuki Yahya, Deputy Foreign Minister of Malaysia and Member of Advisory Board of the Kuala Lumpur Summit and Qamarul Naim Mohd Faizal, Head of Foreign Relations of the Kuala Lumpur Summit to discuss the preparations of the Summit.

Later that day, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the Certificate Ceremony of the “Mediation for Peace” Program for Young Diplomats of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkey led mediation activities in regional and international organizations such as the UN, OSCE and the OIC.

Finally, Mİnister Çavuşoğlu met with President Borge Brende of the World Economic Forum.

At the meeting, views on issues of the international agenda were exchanged.
