On 18 January 2019 Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Ambassadors of the African countries.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkey’s trade volume with the African continent has increased three-fold since 2003 and Turkey’s cooperation and partnership with Africa continues growing.

On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with US Senator Lindsey Graham.

At the meeting, recent developments in Syria and Turkey-US bilateral relations were discussed.
