Relations with Antigua and Barbuda have been limited due to the geographical distance and the fact that both countries have focused more on their regions for many years.

Thanks to Türkiye's outreach policy towards the Latin America and Caribbean region, which has gained momentum in recent years, opening of new Embassies in the region, carrying out development and technical cooperation projects through TIKA and establishing institutional relations with regional organizations have contributed to the development of our relations with Antigua and Barbuda as well.

The Turkish Embassy in Santo Domingo is accredited to Antigua and Barbuda.

The trade volume between the two countries was approximately 9,02 million USD (exports: 9,02 million USD, imports: 169 USD) by the end of 2021.
