In conformity with the understanding reached between Turkish and Greek Foreign Ministers in New York on 30 June 1999, Turkey and Greece has decided to take up 6 seperate issues concerning their bilateral relations.

In this framework, two sides decided to hold bilateral meetings at the level of high-ranking officials from the Turkish and Greek Foreign Ministries on "tourism", "environment", "trade", "culture", "regional cooperation", "organized crime, drug trafficking, illegal migration, terrorism" issues. Tourism, environment and trade issues will be taken up in Ankara on 26-27 July 1999 and the rest in Athens on 29-30 July 1999.
