The repeated activities also recently held this year in Greece within the framework of the so-called “Pontian Greek Genocide Commemoration Day” are obviously based on the allegations aiming to create a misleading interpretation of history and they do not serve the purpose of improving Turkish-Greek relations. We condemn and reject these attempts which lack scientific basis, as well as morally problematic. Indeed, the contractual situation regarding our common recent past is also a response to these allegations.
