Turkey has donated 2 million US Dollars to the World Food Programme (WFP), which is in need of urgent financial support for the operations in Niger and Chad, where the severe food crisis is exacerbated due to the extreme drought conditions.

Turkey’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of those countries, in which the urgent humanitarian assistance is required, will be sustained on bilateral and multilateral levels.
