We strongly condemn the attack against a convoy of vehicles in the city of Bosaso, in the Puntland region of Somalia, causing the death of at least ten people and the wounding of twenty. We wish God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in this heinous attack targeting the security of friendly and brotherly Somalia, convey our condolences to their relatives and hope for a speedy recovery of the wounded.

Turkey, convinced that such attacks targeting the unity and integrity of the country will fail to achieve their goals, will resolutely continue to do its part for Somalia’s return to peace and stability and to stand by the Government and people of Somalia.
