We have learned with great sorrow that 16 people lost their lives so far as a result of the attack against an Air Force Base and later a mosque near Peshawar, capital city of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

We strongly condemn this terrorist attack targeting the peace, security and internal stability of brotherly Pakistan. We wish God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in this heinous attack and convey our condolences to their families.

On this occasion, we once again reiterate that Turkey will resolutely maintain its support to the struggle of brotherly Pakistan against terrorism and its solidarity with the Government and the people of Pakistan.
