We have learned with deep sorrow that the Parliament Member Mohamed Mohamud Hayd was killed as a result of a terrorist attack in Mogadishu, on 3 July 2014.

We strongly condemn this attack targeting the stability of Somalia. We wish God’s mercy upon him and extend our condolences to his family.

Turkey will continue to stand by the brotherly people of Somalia.
