The terrorist attacks, which took place on 4 December 2009 in a mosque in the city of Rawalpindi in Pakistan and killed and injured many, have been learned with deep sorrow and concern. We strongly condemn the attacks. We extend our condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery to the wounded.

The attacks which deliberately and coordinately targeted people in a holy site have once again clearly demonstrated the morally unprincipled character of terror as well as its brutality.

On this sad occasion, we once again reiterate our determination to continue our solidarity with the friendly and brotherly Pakistani people and government against terror which we consider to be the common enemy of humanity.
