We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives in Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic caused by the Hurricane Melissa that affected the Caribbean region.

We extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to the peoples of the countries in the region.
