H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, upon the invitation of His Excellency John Baird, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, will pay a working visit to Canada on 19-20 September 2012.

During the visit, H.E. Mr. Davutoğlu will meet H.E. Mr. John Baird, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, and attend the opening ceremony of the memorial which was built in honor of late Colonel Atilla Altıkat. The memorial conveys a universal message against terrorism.

The meetings in Canada will provide an opportunity for exchanging views on bilateral, regional and global issues of interest to both countries.
