The reports about the ban of fasting and observing other religious duties on Uyghurs in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) caused sadness among the Turkish People.

Our deep concern on the above-mentioned reports was conveyed to the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, which we attach importance to its territorial integrity, stability, peace and security.
