H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan in order to participate in “The Donors Conference to Finance the Strategic Plan for the Development of the city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif” and to the meeting on the “Establishment of Islamic Financial Safety Net in Support of the State of Palestine” which are being organized in Baku on 11 June 2013 as per the decision taken at the 12th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The above mentioned meetings will provide the opportunity to reiterate the firm support by the Islamic countries in terms of contributing to the Palestinian economy and protecting the multi-religious and multi-cultural structure of Jerusalem.

Turkey will continue to be the strongest supporter of the efforts directed at establishing an independent Palestinian State, with East Jerusalem as its capital and of the just struggle of our Palestinian brothers.
