The 3rd Ministerial Meeting of the Friends of Yemen will be held on 23 May 2012 in Riyadh.

Turkey will be represented at the meeting by a delegation headed by H.E. Mr. Bülent Arınç, Deputy Prime Minister.

The Friends of Yemen was established by the decision taken at the international conference held on 27 January 2010 in London with the purpose of providing support to Yemen for security, economic development, restructuring and humanitarian issues.

Turkey is among the founding members of the Friends of Yemen and actively participates in its work.

Turkey supports the political transition process in friendly and brotherly Yemen and will continue to make its contributions at bilateral and international levels in order to move forward the process successfully.
