Israel’s raid against the Freedom Flotilla in high seas on May 31, 2010 was extensively taken up during the Council of Ministers meeting held on June 14, 2010.

Based on the decisions taken by the Council, a committee has been set up under the co-chairmanship of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Justice with the participation of the Undersecretariat for Maritime Affairs in order to assess the national and international law dimension of this raid and conduct preparations for the international inquiry. The Committee held its first meeting on June 14, and its second meeting today. The Committee will continue its activities.
