Foreign Minister of Guatemala, H.E. Carlos Raul Morales will pay an official visit to Ankara on 19 April 2017 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

During the bilateral meeting between the two Ministers, the state of bilateral relations will be reviewed and exchange of views will be made on current regional and international issues.

The visiting Minister will also be received by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.

During the visit, the Guatemalan Embassy in Ankara will be inaugurated with the participation of Minister Çavuşoğlu and his counterpart.

Following the official program in Ankara, Minister Raul Morales will travel to Istanbul to attend the Turkey-Central American Integration System II. Foreign Ministers Forum.

This official visit will be the first at the level of Minister of Foreign Affairs from Guatemala to Turkey.
