Extraordinary Session of the OIC Islamic Summit Conference was held in Istanbul on 13 December 2017, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The situation in wake of US President’s recognition of the city of Al-Quds as the so-called capital of Israel, the Occupying Power and transfer of US Embassy to Al-Quds, constituted the agenda of the Extraordinary Session.
