Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied President Erdoğan for the visit of President Barham Salih of Iraq to Turkey on 3 January 2019.

On the same day Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali Alhakeem of Iraq.

At the meeting, issues in the common agenda, including the fight against terrorism and the reconstruction of Iraq were discussed.
