Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu went to Vienna to attend the meeting convened on 30 October 2015 for the purpose of putting an end to the conflict in Syria.

In the meeting, US Secretary of State John Kerry, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and representatives from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Lebanon, China, Oman and Italy were present.

Prior to the meeting, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu yesterday held quadrilateral talks with his, US, Saudi and Russian Counterparts and had a trilateral meeting with Saudi and Qatari Foreign Ministers.
