On the second day of his working visit, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu was received by the President of the Krygyz Republic, Almazbek Atambayev. Following the meeting where bilateral relations were discussed in depth, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu met with the representatives of the Meskhetian Turks Association

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu was later received by the Krygyz Prime Minister Temir Sarıyev. In the meeting political, cultural, economic and trade relations between the two countries were discussed. In this context, it was decided that Agreement on the Mutual Protection and Promotion of Investments would be updated to facilitate business operations of Turkish firms and that efforts would be launched to expedite the opening of a Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Center in the Krygyz Republic.

Krygyz Prime Minister Sarıyev stated that he was pleased with Turkey’s cooperation and thanked Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu for the projects undertaken by TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) in his country.
