Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu assumes his duties

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu assumed his duties as of August 29, 2014.

Speaking to the press Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu thanked President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu. Noting that the principles and priorities of the Turkish Foreign policy are obvious Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that within the framework of these principles he will endeavor to carry Turkey forward.
