Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu who holds contacts in Myanmar together with the Member States of the OIC Contact Group on Rohingya Muslims had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Wunna Maung Lwin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.

At the meeting where bilateral relations were discussed, views were exchanged on the current condition of the Turkish cemeteries in Myanmar and the preparations for legal infrastructure with a view to enabling Turkish investments in Myanmar. Moreover, the activities of the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA) and issues regarding the beginning of the functions of the Turkish Red Crescent and the Anatolian News Agency were reviewed.
